This internship program is designed to empower growth by exploring the dynamic nature of the defense industry throughout Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain & Quality (OSCQ). Throughout the summer, you will be able to expand your knowledge of OSCQ while also gaining unprecedented exposure to leadership along the way.

Procurement interns are highly collaborative, hands-on Supply Chain professionals that regularly engage with the customer, Program Management Office (PMO) and other functions such as Engineering, Logistics, and Finance. You will leverage your self-motivation and high-level organization while managing multiple priorities at the same time.

What You Will Do

  • Place or support Purchase Orders of low to medium dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance
  • Preparation of all manner of solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ
  • Analyze quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques
  • Drive success for metrics

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Management, Finance, Management Information Systems, Economics or closely related business major and actively enrolled through completion of the internship / co-op session.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
  • Experience with Supply Chain processes and tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefe r

  • Degree focus in Supply Chain Management or Business Management
  • Experience in a Defense Contracting environment
  • Experience with SAP/PRISM
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
