Produce Stocker- Part-Time

Description

Kimberton Whole Foods is seeking a part-time Produce Stocker to join the crew at our newest location in Eagleview!

Availability: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week. One weekend shift is required each week.

Schedule:

• •Monday or Tuesday 12-8:30
• •Friday 12-8:30
• •Saturday 7-3:30

Hourly Pay: $15.00 - $17.00

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.

Produce Stocker's Primary Responsibilities:

• •Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• •Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• •Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• •Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• •Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department.
• •Understands KWF inventory management practices.

Requirements

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

• •Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers.
• •Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products.
• •Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• •Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• •Standing- prolonged standing.
• •Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting).
• •Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
