Product Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer based in Ireland.

• This is a high-ownership Product Engineer role within a small, senior team building foundational technology for the commercial insurance market.
• You will take complex problems from an initial thesis through design, implementation, deployment, and continuous iteration, with broad freedom over how solutions are built.
• The role spans the full product and engineering stack, from user interfaces and APIs to data models, background jobs, and AI-powered workflows.
• You will work with large-scale, structured insurance data to create intuitive products used by brokers, lenders, underwriters, and other insurance professionals.
• AI is deeply embedded in the engineering workflow, and you will be expected to use modern coding agents and AI tooling to increase development speed and leverage.
• With no traditional Product Manager or QA layer, Product Engineers are expected to exercise strong product judgment, challenge assumptions, and own outcomes rather than simply execute specifications.
