Job Description

As a Product Specialist , you will be part of a dynamic engineering team based in Bengaluru /Pune, supporting the development and maintenance of industrial automation configuration and selection tools. Your role will involve collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Commercial Engineering, UX, Development, and QA teams to analyse product requirements, define business rules, validate tool functionality, and improve product accuracy and user experience. You will report to the Team Lead and work in a hybrid environment, following the 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM shift from Bengaluru/Pune, India.

Your Responsibilities:

• •Provide product and technical expertise to support development and maintenance of industrial automation configuration and selection tools.
• •Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Commercial Engineering, UX, Development, and QA teams to define, document, and validate product requirements.
• •Analyse product, system, and business rules to ensure accurate functional and technical specifications.
• •Support discovery, requirement-gathering, UAT, and validation activities to improve tool accuracy, usability, and customer experience.
• •Maintain product data, configuration rules, and supporting documentation for implementation by development teams.
• •Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities that impact tool functionality and user experience.
• •Monitor market and competitor tools to provide practical insights and recommendations to product stakeholders.

Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
