  • Apply established Florida field procedures, drafting standards, review checklists, quality controls, and document-retention practices
  • Assist with the technical review and maintenance of standard survey templates and deliverables
  • Support the testing, calibration, and proper use of survey equipment, software, coordinate systems, and field-to-office workflows
  • Promptly report any complaint, investigation, restriction, suspension, expiration, or other change affecting the individual’s professional license
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry standards, technologies, and regulatory changes
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the position and applicable professional requirements

Professional Authority and Accountability

The Florida PSM retains independent professional judgment over surveying methods, technical supervision, compliance, quality review, and use of the individual’s professional seal. Nothing in this job description requires the employee to approve, sign, or seal work that the employee determines does not satisfy applicable legal or professional requirements.
