Summary
This PROGRAM ANALYST position, is located in a State Headquarters, Chaplain's Office and is part of the CA JFHQ Chaplain Office.
Duties
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION. The primary purpose of the PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9, is to serve as the program manager over the Strong Bonds program, responsible for developing, implementing and administering the Strong Bonds program to the state of CA, and serves as an assistant to the full-time state Chaplain. Serves as key coordination point for all Strong Bonds program requirements. May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
Qualifications
PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level experience in the application of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques; Experience using computer and automation systems; Experience in the application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management; Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Budget Administration Clerical Planning and Evaluating Program Management
Education
Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work required OR a combination of education and experience. (Only graduate education in excess of the amount required above may be used.) When there is a positive education or certification requirement, or you are using education to qualify as a substitution for experience, copies of transcripts (unofficial) and/or certificates are required at the time of application to verify that you meet the educational/certification requirement or substitution. Failure to provide transcripts and/or certificates at the time of application will result in automatic disqualification. Only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education may be credited.
