We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Buyer to join our Supply Chain team in Sweden.

What will you do?

• •Identify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualify new suppliers in-cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
• •Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renew pricelists, terms
• •Adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs. Recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval.
• •Analyse and evaluate bids to determine the optimal value.
• •Supports bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
• •Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
• •Oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues.
• •Initiates supply orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
• •Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
• •Conducts all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures

Authority

• •Authorized to evaluate suppliers and qualify/disqualify them as per company guidelines
• •Empowered to lead and facilitate supplier assessments with project teams, line management, and subcontractors, and to require implementation of necessary preventive and corrective measures
• •Authorized to audit suppliers, monitor KPI performance, and report progress SCM objectives to management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• •Proactive and curious person with the drive to challenge yourself and the organization for continuous improvement
• •Team player with good organization skills and ability to multitask
• •Quick learner who is comfortable and enjoy managing several projects and stakeholders in parallel
• •Networking skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial attitude
• •Bachelors degree or a University level education, an academic background related to supply chain is a plus
• •Professional experience in a supply chain function with background to procurement and sourcing

Experience in EPC business is preferred
