PROJECT MANAGER – ELECTRIC SIGNS & LED LIGHTING

YESCO is looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage electric sign, LED lighting, and related construction projects from planning through completion.

You’ll work with customers, contractors, vendors, and YESCO teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving forward. The work includes project scope, scheduling, materials, budgets, change orders, quality, customer communication, and final closeout.

Experience with electric signs, electrical work, or LED lighting is strongly preferred. We’re also looking for someone who is organized, communicates well, can solve problems, and follows through.

Our projects range from individual signs and LED lighting upgrades to large and more involved installations. Project Managers work with customers and teams across YESCO to coordinate work and ensure projects are completed properly.

What You’ll Do

Project Management

• •Review project scope, drawings, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements.
• •Develop project schedules and coordinate the people, materials, equipment, vendors, and subcontractors needed to complete the work.
• •Manage several projects at different stages at the same time.
• •Monitor schedules, budgets, quality, and project requirements.
• •Coordinate with Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Design, Installation, Service, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• •Keep customers and project teams informed regarding progress, changes, and issues.
• •Manage change orders and related documentation.
• •Complete project closeout, including open items, documentation, and final billing.

Problem Solving and Customer Support

• •Spot potential problems and work with the appropriate people to resolve them.
• •Address customer, vendor, contractor, and project issues.
• •Help ensure work meets project requirements, quality standards, and applicable codes.
• •Keep project team members and contractors informed of expectations and commitments.
• •Escalate significant issues when you need supplemental support or direction.

Project Financials

• •Monitor project costs and budgets.
• •Review project financial conditions and discover potential cost issues.
• •Coordinate billing and payments based on project requirements.
• •Track deliverables and milestones tied to payment.

What You’ll Bring

• •Project management, construction, or supervisory experience.
• •Experience with electric signs, electrical work, LED lighting, or a comparable field.
• •Experience working with customers, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• •Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• •Good written and verbal communication skills.
• •Strong math, budgeting, and deductive skills.
• •Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• •Good judgment and the ability to make decisions independently.
• •Experience with Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools.
• •Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

An associate degree in Project Management or a similar field is preferred, but equivalent experience and training will be considered. Six or more years of relevant experience is helpful, particularly in the electric sign or construction industry.

Experience with YESCO products and processes is a plus but not required. Training and continuing education are available.
