Psychiatrist (MD/DO)

• Compensation: 60% of Net Collections; (Estimated earning potential of $210-$270 per clinical session)
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (practice requirement of at least 10 hours per week)

• Schedule: 10 - 16 clinical hours per week
• Location: This is a remote position; fully remote or hybrid opportunities available

ARC Health, which partners with and operates out of the Lotus Consulting, PLLC's office, is seeking a highly qualified, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our thriving practice in Ann Arbor, MI. Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is passionate about providing comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan—ages 5 through 80—in an outpatient setting who works 10-16 hours per week.

Psychiatrist Responsibilities:

• •Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in the outpatient setting.
• •Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population.
• •Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• •Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies.
• •Make referrals for psychotherapy when indicated and collaborate with all other mental health professionals involved in the patient’s care to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• •Maintain accurate and confidential client records completely all documentation in compliance with legal/ethical standards.
• •Advocate for clients' needs and rights, including access to psychiatric services and medications.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• •Active, unrestricted medical license in Michigan, or willing to obtain
• •Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
• •Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.
• •Minimum of 2 years’ experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 5–80) in private practice
• •Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic techniques
• •Knowledge of evidence-based interventions in psychiatric treatment
