We offer a competitive starting salary of €75,000.00 for this role, with salary adjustments reflecting your experience level and expertise.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:

• •Extensive experience in government and public sector procurement, particularly under EU public procurement rules, ideally with consulting exposure.
• •Proven expertise in category management and sourcing strategy, from conceptualisation through to practical application.
• •Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and the ability to manage complex contract discussions.
• •Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including client relationship management, team mentoring, and driving business development initiatives.

What type of work will I be doing?

• •Developing and implementing category and procurement strategies tailored to government and public sector clients.
• •Leading end-to-end procurement and contracting delivery, including supplier management and contract transition.
• •Managing relationships with senior client executives and project sponsors, facilitating steering committee engagements.
• •Overseeing project delivery, tracking risks, issues, budgets, and resources using tools such as MS Project and advanced Excel models.
• •Leading and mentoring Deloitte teams, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• •Supporting business development efforts and contributing to the growth of the Supply Chain consulting practice.
• •Collaborating with Irish and global Deloitte teams to tailor government and public sector offerings for the Irish market.
• •Addressing complex business challenges by integrating capabilities across Technology, AI & Data, Human Capital, Strategy & Transactions, and Tax & Legal.
