Raynor Hawaii Overhead Doors is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented Purchasing Manager responsible for purchasing materials, coordinating shipments, managing vendor relationships, and supporting inventory and logistics operations.

This role works closely with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Accounting, vendors, and freight partners to ensure materials are ordered, shipped, and received accurately and on time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Create and process purchase orders using the ServiceTitan Purchasing Module.

Submit approved purchase orders and monitor order status through delivery.

Review and distribute order acknowledgements (OAs) for accuracy.

Work with Raynor Mfg. so we can process all orders within Webconnect and ST. (Moving from current paper/scan system to direct order entry.)

Develop and maintain purchasing procedures (SOPs) with Operations and Raynor Dixon, IL.

Maintain exceptional attendance and reliability. This position is critical to th daily flow of purchasing, inventory, and logistics operations, and consistent availability is essential to maintaining business continuity.

Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organization, follow-through, and urgency in all purchasing and logistics responsibilities shown through attention to detail.

Adapt quickly to changing priorities, procedures, systems, and business needs. The Purchasing Manager must be able to learn new processes and systems quickly and apply new information accurately.

Demonstrate a high level of accountability and ownership. Work proactively and anticipate potential issues before they affect inventory levels or overall operations.

Establishes inventory control procedures, conducts physical counts and audits & maintains accurate records

Overseeing and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Develop Min/Max and replenishment levels using spreadsheet then transfer into ST as Inventory goes virtual.

Develop proper names – tie current PB-1 parts list to our parts. Input into ST as we move to virtual inventory.

Coordinate receipt of goods with warehouse to ensure ST is kept updated.

Work with warehouse personnel on inventory replenishment requests.

Monitors inventory levels, investigates discrepancies and works with operations, accounting and warehouse team to identify & resolve issues

Identifying obsolete inventory, obtaining permission from Brand Manager and purging.

Review receiving documentation and assist in verifying shipments against purchase orders.

Coordinate container and loose cargo shipments, including freight quotes, scheduling, tracking, and communication.

Research and develop most efficient freight methods for shipping – track costs to ensure they align with estimates.

Maximize container consolidation with Raynor Dixon, IL and coordinate non-Raynor shipments.

Prepare and distribute container reports, manifests, and shipment updates.

Coordinate container deliveries and resolve shortages, discrepancies, and damage claims.

Review purchase order invoices for accuracy prior to payment.

Work with operations to resolve all warranty claims with all manufacturers. Keep open file with all ongoing warranty claims until resolved.

Maintain strong vendor relationships and communicate effectively with internal departments throughout the purchasing process.

Able to shape vendors to meet our expectations.

Able to communicate with operations and sales to keep everyone concerned apprised as to parts/doors coming in.

Communicate promptly and accurately with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Accounting, vendors, freight partners, the Brand President, and Guild Purchasing team.

Maximize efficiency in purchasing, inventory, pricing, shipping, to ensure growing customer and employee satisfaction and reducing COG.

Qualifications

Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory, or supply chain preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office; ServiceTitan experience preferred.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working with WMS system, inventory management system or similar preferred

Experience with system integration

Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, Vlookup, filters
