Job Summary

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• •Perform failure analyses of motors returned to St. Louis and drive corrective actions with Nidec plants
• •Conduct customer on-site visits to review Quality issues and drive improvement actions
• •Host periodic meetings with customers to review Quality metrics
• •Utilize problem-solving tools such as 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto, etc.
• •Perform data analytics, reporting, and management presentations
• •Respond to customers’ corrective action (SCAR/8D) requests
• •Work with Nidec St. Louis Engineers to support new product developments

Requirements:

• •Strong knowledge on Quality Problem-Solving Tools and Statistics
• •Familiar with product reliability testing
• •Experience in motor assembly and manufacturing
• •Willing to travel, U.S. domestic and international
• •Able to work with global cross-functional teams
• •Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred

Skills:

• •Strong oral and written English language communication
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• •Data analytics using MS Excel or Minitab

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience:

2+ years in Quality Assurance gained from working in motor manufacturing or similar field
