Quality Inspector

Job Duties Include:

Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; performing and/or verifying others’ re-work.

Quality Inspection Includes:

Ability to read, understand, and follow documented work instructions and Quality Plans for injection molded and assembled parts

Visual inspection and comparison to established cosmetic standards

Dimensional Inspection using manual tools and electronic measuring systems

Calipers, Micrometers, Pressure Testers, CMM, SmartScope, and others

Receiving Inspection

Verification of attributes of materials, inserts, and other components

Product Labeling and Traceability Verification

Documentation of inspection results

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

Basic Math Skills, including reading and interpreting instrumentation

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Ability to speak, read, and write basic and technical English (Spanish is a plus)

Experience in Manufacturing Quality or Plastic Injection Molding a plus but not required

Pay is $18 to $35 depending on experience and includes paid vacation, paid sick leave, health insurance and 401K with company match.
