As a Radiation Therapist at MercyOne, you will:

• •Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription
• •Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
• •Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
• •Assure proper function of treatment equipment
• •Based on principles of growth and development, provide care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned area

• •36 hours a week

Qualifications :

• •Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligibility required
• •Must obtain and maintain a State of Iowa Permit To Practice requiring 24 CEUs in a 2 - year period
• •Current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy
• •Previous experience preferred
• •BLS
• •Mandatory Reporter
