Red Crew Maintenance Generalist (1st Shift)-Broken Bow, OK

Job description:

• •Applicants will be considered for shifts and hours posted.
• •Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.
• •General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• •You must be willing to set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery.
• •Must be willing to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system.
• •Must be able to read and write where required.
• •Must be able to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
• •Must be willing and able to lift 70 lbs. with assistance on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for 12 hours.
• •Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
• •Must be able to communicate clearly with Upper Management and team members via phone, in person, and in writing regarding the status of equipment repairs.

Requirements:

• •Experience/history: a minimum of 1-year Industrial related maintenance experience ( listed in the application ) and/or technical certifications and working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools.
• •Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
• •Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
• •Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
• •Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
