Job Description​

The Opportunity:

  • Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, located in Kansas City MO is currently hiring for a Registered Nurse for their Neuro OR. This is a nationally recognized top performing team and a leader in healthcare. This team offers a premier neurosurgical center in the region, treating more aneurysms than any other Kansas City area hospital. This is a great opportunity to work the latest technology and procedures.
  • As a nurse in our Neuro Operating Room you will circulate a variety of cases. This position requires flexibility and dependability and is responsible for the care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency.
  • Schedule
  • 0645-1715, Full Time Days,
  • This position includes call coverage. The call response time is 30 minutes.
  • The Work:
  • The Neuro Registered Nurse in Surgery is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. safety and efficiency.
  • Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
  • Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
