Repair Technician (Trainee)

Description

The Repair Technician Trainee will learn to perform repairs to client swimming pools and facilities as directed by the Company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• •Works alongside a Repair Technician to learn and assist with general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients swimming pools.
• •Learns to inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• •Consults manuals or other resources as needed.
• •Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and heating continue operating properly, under the supervision of a Repair Technician.
• •Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• •Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• •Basic knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and swimming pool repair.
• •Ability to read repair manuals.
• •Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• •Ability to follow instructions.
• •Excellent time management skills.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• •High school diploma or equivalent required.
• •Prior experience in related field preferred.
• •RAIL license or equivalent state license preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• •Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• •Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• •Must be able to carry 50 pounds at a time.
