General Responsibilities
Design, plan, and execute independent and collaborative research projects focused on cancer biology, tumor progression, and/or therapeutic development.
Perform advanced wet-lab experiments using molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques (e.g., cell culture, animal models, genomics/proteomics, drug response assays).
Analyze, interpret, and validate experimental data using appropriate statistical and computational tools.
Develop and optimize experimental protocols and troubleshoot technical challenges.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in compliance with institutional, funding, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for scientific meetings and peer-reviewed journals.
Assist in the preparation of grant applications, progress reports, and fellowship submissions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams, including clinicians, bioinformaticians, and other basic scientists.
Mentor and train graduate students, technicians, and junior researchers in laboratory techniques and research methodology.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, biosafety, and ethical standards, including animal and human subject regulations where applicable.
Stay current with advances in oncology research and related technologies through literature review and professional development activities.
