Med Techs for Assisted Living Community
Elan Manatee Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Med Techs to join our vibrant community. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing quality care and support to our residents. Join us in creating a warm, respectful environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and resident care
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Medication Technician certification
- Prior experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents’ needs
- Knowledge of safety protocols and healthcare regulations
