Restaurant Server Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Server Assistant (bus person) to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting servers, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:

• •Clear tables promptly and efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• •Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining surfaces.
• •Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and condiments.
• •Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread or other accompaniments, and responding to guest requests.
• •Sweep floors and maintain overall cleanliness in the dining and service areas.
• •Ensure all bus stations are stocked with necessary supplies.
• •Assist with dishwashing and other back-of-house tasks as needed.
• •Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

• •Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• •Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• •Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• •Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items weighing up to 25 lbs.
• •Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• •Friendly and professional demeanor.
