Cashiers perform various customer service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and bagging customers purchases.

ALL EXPERIENCES WELCOME, TRAINING PROVIDED!

Shift times range between 1pm and 11pm. Full Time and Part Time hours available.

Current/previous experience as a cashier in food service or retail a plus.

What You’ll Do:

As a Cashier, you are the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving our store.

You'll:

• •Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers
• •Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression
• •Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately
• •Handle cash and payments responsibly, with attention to detail
• •Communicate clearly and confidently, using friendly eye contact and positive body language
• •Answer customer questions and help resolve concerns with care
• •Build trust and connection that encourages customers to return
• •Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring:

• •You’re 18 years of age or older
• •You enjoy working with people and providing great service
• •You’re comfortable learning and using technology

• •You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
