Summary:
The Retail Reporting Specialist will complete cyclical due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for products offered through John Hancock Investment Management, including mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds. The role supports the Retail Distribution teams by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality questionnaire responses. As a member of the Global Proposal Services team, the specialist will collaborate with colleagues who support the institutional product offerings of Manulife Investment Management. This position reports to the Director, Proposal Services, US & Asia. 100% work from home. Open to candidates in the United States and Canada.
Position Responsibilities:
Drive client retention efforts by completing periodic DDQs accurately and on time.
Prepare, edit, and complete monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc questionnaires within established deadlines.
Coordinate all aspects of the DDQ production process to ensure deliverables meet firm quality standards.
Research and validate responses using approved databases and other identified sources.
Partner with subject matter experts at various levels of the organization to source and confirm ad hoc responses.
Support additional team projects as required.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience in the financial services industry.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various levels of management and internal clients.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet strict deadlines while producing high-quality work.
Excellent organization and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify inaccurate or inconsistent data.
Ability to work effectively and respectfully with people who bring diverse skills, backgrounds, and experience.
Self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with retail or mutual fund reporting.
Bachelor's or Associate’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
Experience using Qvidian or Loopio.

Salary range is expected to be between
$61,875.00 USD - $103,125.00 USD
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
