Job Summary

The Reworker Labor Team Member is responsible for reworking poultry products to ensure product quality and maximize yield while maintaining food safety and production standards. This position plays a key role in identifying, sorting, processing, and reintroducing approved products back into the production process. Team members must work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced poultry processing environment.

Essential Functions

• •Retrieve and process product designated for rework according to plant procedures.
• •Inspect and sort product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• •Open packages and remove products for reprocessing as needed.
• •Dispose of packaging materials and waste in designated containers.
• •Rotate and manage rework inventory using established procedures.
• •Record and maintain accurate production and inventory documentation.
• •Perform quality checks and follow all food safety requirements.
• •Stack, move, and transport product and materials throughout the department.
• •Assist with loading and unloading product when required.
• •Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping activities.
• •Support production operations by performing assigned job rotations and cross-training activities.
• •Follow all Tyson policies regarding safety, food safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• •Perform other duties as assigned by management.
