Job Description

Job Summary: Safely load bundles of shingles and related products to the roof. Perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping and receiving.

Job Responsibilities

• •Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
• •Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• •Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
• •Required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving, when not on deliveries
• •Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
• •Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• •Other duties as required

Qualifications

• •Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• •Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided)
• •Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)
• •Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• •Strong customer service skills
• •Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred
• •Previous experience as a General Laborer/Laborer - an asset
• •Previous experience as Warehouse Associate, Construction Helper, Manual Laborer would be beneficial
• •Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• •Authorized to work in Canada
