Qualifications

• •Currently enrolled student at UWS in good academic standing
• •Ability to work autonomously
• •Excellent customer service skills
• •Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• •Knowledge of a wide-range of sports or willingness to learn
• •Experience in program planning
• •Officiating Experience

• •CPR/AED-Adult & First Aid certifications
• •Bloodborne Pathogen Training to Level: 2A

RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Schedule all leagues and tournament games
• •Schedule, manage, develop, and evaluate intramural officials
• •Assist in the development and implementation of intramural officials trainings
• •Organize and attend all officials trainings and clinics
• •Oversee Campus Recreation facilities during and after intramural events
• •Oversee the set up and take down of intramural or special events
• •Communicate effectively with all staff members
• •Provide disciplinary action to intramural officials and/or participants as necessary
• •Conduct and supervise captain’s meetings
• •Actively recruit participants
• •Complete all necessary forms and paperwork
• •Attend all required meetings
• •Other duties as assigned

TIME COMMITMENT & TRAINING

• •10-20 hours per week
• •Must be available to work nights and weekends.

COMPENSATION

Student Supervisor- Level II ($14/hour)

REPORTS TO

• •Recreation Program Manager
• •Director of Campus Recreation
• •Can take direction from any Campus Recreation Professional Staff
