This position is responsible for servicing customers in a retail hardware, lumber and building materials location. You must have solid customer service skills for counter and store sales, thrive in a fast paced environment, have strong people skills and have a positive team attitude. The right person must be detail oriented with knowledge of lumber and building materials. Previous experience with builders or contractors a plus. Great opportunity with career advancement potential in sales!

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for waiting on customers in person, on the phone and via email

Processes orders and quotes for building materials requested by customers

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service or sales preferred

Knowledge of building materials preferred, but not required

Excellent telephone skills preferred

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
