Role Overview:
We're seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic marketing team. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for the sales team. You will play a key role in the growth of our business by driving top of funnel outreach and pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting : Identify and prospect new business opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound strategies, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach. Strong emphasis on proactive outbound prospecting - researching target accounts, personalizing outreach, and driving first-touch conversations to create pipeline.
Qualifying Leads : Engage with leads to qualify their needs, budget, and timeline, and ensure they are a good fit for our platform.
Nurture Relationships : Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with prospects, educating them on our product offerings and the value of WitnessAI.
Scheduling Demos/Meetings : Book qualified meetings and product demos for the sales team, ensuring smooth transitions from SDR to the supporting Regional Sales Director(s).
CRM Management : Update and manage prospect data in our CRM (Salesforce), ensuring accurate tracking of outreach, meetings, and pipeline activity.
Collaboration : Work closely with sales and the marketing team to align efforts and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
Sales Training & Development : Participate in regular training sessions to sharpen your sales skills and knowledge about our products, the industry, and best practices.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a sales development, business development, or lead generation role (preferably in SaaS or technology).
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
Self-motivated with a hunger to learn, grow, and exceed goals.
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
Team player with a collaborative mindset.
