Buffalo Tungsten has been a leading manufacturer and global supplier of high purity tungsten powder. We have a strong commitment to quality assurance, competitive pricing, and short lead times. We have over three decades of experience and maintain a sole focus on producing powdered tungsten materials through a hydrogen reduction process. We have supplied customers in over 40 countries throughout the world. In addition to pure tungsten powder, we also produce tungsten carbide powder and tungsten carbide based thermal spray powders. Buffalo Tungsten is part of Sandvik group and organizationally belongs to the Powder Solutions division within the business area Sandvik Machining.

Key Performance Areas

About the Role:

Support our growing sales organization in the complete sales process from order to cash. Engage with customers via phone, email, and/or video calls to understand their needs and communicate those needs/requirements to our internal stakeholders. Maintain detailed records of sales in local CRM/ERP/Accounting systems.

  • Support the Sales Director in the full sales process from order to cash:
  • Create customer quotations
  • Create/send order confirmations and delivery notes
  • Create/send customer invoices
  • Prepare reporting and performance analysis on customers
  • Inventory management and stock control for finished product
  • Work with business controlling to monitor accounts and support A/R process
  • Ensuring compliance with local legislation and Sandvik processes is your priority
  • Ensure optimization of in-country logistics and transportation cycle times
  • Active contributions to achieving organizational goals
  • Provide market & customer feedback to various stakeholders as required
  • Monitor customer accounts, ensure adherence to credit limits and payment terms
  • Support establishment of standard process & procedures and keep them up to date
  • Work closely with US and International sales team to mitigate supply chain risk
  • Limited travel within the US for customer visits and trade shows

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communications OR equivalent work experience
  • Prior sales experience where new business development has been the focus
  • Strong technical background to understand our powder products and applications
  • Experience with SAP Sales & Distribution preferred
  • Experience with shipping & logistics preferred
  • Strong computer skills in office technology (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

Pay/Hours

  • Pay is dependent on experience with starting pay 80k to 95k
  • Normal Working hours Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm, with other hours as needed.
