Join UW-Green Bay as a Salesforce Developer and play a key role in advancing a university that is transforming lives through education, innovation, and community impact. This highly collaborative position partners with stakeholders across the institution to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that enhance the student, employee, and community experience. By leveraging technology to improve processes, strengthen relationships, and support data-informed decision-making, you will directly contribute to the University's strategic priorities of Digital Transformation, Student Success, Inclusivity, and Community Connections , while supporting a mission rooted in access, innovation, student success, and service to Northeast Wisconsin.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will gather requirements, design and deliver CRM applications and integrations, manage technology projects, provide training and support, and collaborate with stakeholders from concept through implementation. Key Job Responsibilities:

Implements data structure and systems performance strategies

Prepares detailed system design specifications for system integration and upgrades

Maintains and troubleshoots applications, systems, or websites

Reviews application design specifications, codes new applications, and makes enhancements to existing applications

Prepares program documentation and training requirements

Tests and debugs programs, and prepares systems test data

Develops or modifies technical specifications for moderately-complex projects using disciplined software development practices

Compensation:

  • Compensation range of $90000-$105000
  • This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Required Qualifications:

  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. UW-Green Bay cannot sponsor an applicant for work authorization visas for this position, including F-1 STEM OPT extensions
  • BS/BA degree in computer science/engineering, information technology, or related field at the time of application
  • One year of demonstrated Salesforce CRM development experience and/or relevant certifications (Salesforce Platform Developer 1 or 2, UX/Strategy Designer, Salesforce Administrator, etc.)
  • Experience with software development and object-oriented programming
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, tasks, and resources
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through verbal and written communication to various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three years of demonstrated Salesforce CRM development experience
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Blackthorn Event Registration solutions built on Salesforce
  • Experience working with Oracle Campus Solutions, Workday, or other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience writing SQL queries, analyzing data, and utilizing report writing tools
  • Experience with related tools such as Form Assembly, Salesforce API development, Informatica, etc.
  • Experience with information security, compliance, and/or audit
  • Commitment to cultivating a work environment that embraces inclusion

Conditions of Appointment:

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay does not offer H-1B or other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term. This position may have the option to work on-campus, a hybrid schedule, or fully remote subject to approved telecommuting request.

Position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment. A pre-employment education check which includes, but is not limited to, the verification of academic credentials will be conducted on the finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s) and if there is prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. The Universities of Wisconsin provides an excellent benefits package to meet the diverse needs of its employees. For benefits eligible positions, this includes several health insurance options, with annual deductibles as low as $250/individual and $500/family. We participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), where employer contributions begin immediately, and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The Universities of Wisconsin also provides supplemental retirement savings programs including a 403(b) and Deferred Compensation.

In addition, eligible employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually and paid parental leave. Eligible employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.
