What You’ll Receive:

Salon Assistant Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• •Perform shampoo and conditioning treatments for milk + honey guests.
• •Maintaining laundry for the salon.
• •Ability to perform a variety of cleaning duties including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, dishes, cleaning the bathroom, and taking out the trash.
• •Ability to exemplify milk + honey’s Core Values in every interaction with guests and coworkers.
• •Adherence to all Attendance and Punctuality policies.
• •Present a polished and professional image at all times.
• •Be able to lift up to 25lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.

Work Hours and Compensation:

• •Salon Assistants work a mixture of AM and PM shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
• •Compensation starts at $15.

Requirements

• •State Cosmetology License
• •Weekend and night availability is required
• •Ability to hear so as to effectively understand customer’s needs
• •Ability to lift up to 25lbs
• •Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and remain attentive to guests' needs
• •Ability to sustain reasonable physical activity for the duration of a scheduled shift
• •Sensitivity to unnecessary waste of product and a willingness to act to reduce waste
