Sanitation

2nd shift hours

Monday-Friday 2:30PM-11PM

Pay: $19/hr. Plus $1.50 shift differential

This position works in the Boxing Area, Clean Room, and Tempering Room within a meat production environment and involves cleaning and sanitizing areas with blood, meat/production residue, and strong odors. Candidates must be comfortable wearing required protective equipment, working at heights, and following strict sanitation and safety procedures

Maintain appropriate sanitation levels in and around company facilities while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Sweep, mop, scrub, and clean floors and work areas throughout the meat production facility , including the Boxing Area, Clean Room, Tempering Room, warehouse, and freezer areas
• •Wash and sanitize production areas and remove trash, meat/production residue, and other debris
• •Perform general cleaning and sanitation throughout the production facility, warehouse, and freezer
• •Keep production and surrounding areas clean and free of debris
• •Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are maintained in good working condition, properly stored after use, and adequately stocked

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• •Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks
• •Must be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals
• •Basic math skills
• •Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• •Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• •Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs./9 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• •Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• •Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$15.48 - $26.11
