Sanitation Opr 3rd shift - New London, WI

Job Details:

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning, and preparing equipment for use in various departments.

Responsibilities:

• •Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.
• •Clean up excess waste on the floors.
• •Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.
• •Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals.
• •Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant and oil when finished.
• •Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, and any other items.
• •Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.
• •Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• •Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
• •Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
• •Perform any other work as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• •Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions.
• •Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• •Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• •Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
• •Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.
• •Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
• •Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
• •Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend up to 10 hours.
• •Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.

Preferred Skills:

• •Machine Operator experience preferred
• •Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• •RF Scanner experience preferred
