Description
Urgent Care for Kids is looking for a Virtual Experience Specialist to join our mission-driven patient representative team. Our Virtual Experience Specialists supports our telemedicine platform, which in turn, supports our 13 clinics across the state of Texas in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin and Houston metropolitan areas. Our purpose and driving force is to close the gaps in children’s healthcare through technology, innovation and execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor the flow of real-time Virtual Care for Families telehealth visit, communicating directly with the providers.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients/parents, including but not limited to, using a multiline phone and patient outreach via phone, text, or email.
- Accurately perform data entry into or EMR system, eMDs.
- Thorough knowledge of medical Insurances with experience on Insurance verification platforms. Preferably with Availity, TMHP and Trizetto.
- Ensure a positive patient experience through professional interaction with patients and proper phone greeting etiquette.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of personal health information (PHI).
- Provide availability at the end of the visit to assist with school notes, work excuses, and to help answer any follow up questions within the scope of practice.
- Perform other related work as needed.

Requirements
- 1 year customer service experience.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
- Adaptable with the ability to learn new technologies, assess situations quickly, and look for smarter, better ways to achieve goals.
- Experience handling a high volume of customer interactions via phone and email.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
