Labcorp is seeking a remote Security Analyst, Identity and Access Management (IAM) , to join our team!
Location: Remote
Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
Work Schedule: This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Work Authorization: This position requires permanent authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship (including H-1B, OPT/CPT, EAD, or other temporary work authorization) is not available.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer user access within IBM RACF and related enterprise security platforms.
- Perform user provisioning, modification, and deprovisioning activities in accordance with established policies and service level expectations.
- Investigate and resolve access-related issues.
- Support access governance activities across mainframe and enterprise environments.
- Manage access requests, incidents, and workflow activities through ServiceNow.
- Partner with business and technology teams to fulfill and resolve access-related requests.
- Support access certification campaigns, compliance initiatives, and audit activities.
- Partner with internal and external auditors to provide required documentation, evidence, and subject matter expertise.
- Maintain and update IAM operating procedures, standards, and governance documentation.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen security controls and improve operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate testing and implementation activities supporting IAM integrations and Human Resources data feeds.
- Support ServiceNow enhancements and IAM technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to enhance IAM services and platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma with 10 or more years of Identity and Access Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity support experience; or Associate degree
- Five or more years of experience supporting Identity and Access Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related technology functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems with 5 or more years of Identity and Access Management, Information Security, Cybersecurity support experience.
Additional Job Standards
- Experience administering IBM RACF security access.
- Experience with user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access lifecycle management.
- Experience managing requests and incidents through ServiceNow.
- Experience supporting compliance programs, access certification campaigns, and audit activities.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management technologies and access governance practices.
- Knowledge of DB2 security and access controls.
- Experience supporting Unisys security administration.
- Experience coordinating Human Resources system integrations and testing activities.
- Experience working in complex enterprise technology environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to identify operational risks and improvement opportunities.
- Commitment to maintaining security, compliance, and governance standards.
About the Role
The Security Analyst, Identity and Access Management (IAM), supports secure and compliant access management across enterprise systems and applications. The role is responsible for access administration, user lifecycle management, governance, compliance support, audit coordination, and process improvement initiatives. This position partners with cybersecurity, infrastructure, compliance, Human Resources, and business teams to help ensure users receive appropriate access while supporting enterprise security and regulatory requirements.

Pay Range: $75-85k
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
