What You'll Do

The Security Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement of Mobility's global physical security program. This role serves as the operational backbone of the security organization, ensuring effective governance of security systems, GSOC operations, vendor performance, risk assessments, incident management, and compliance activities across the global office portfolio.

The position bridges strategy and execution by supporting Physical Security, Safety, Facilities, Business Continuity, and third-party security providers while maintaining operational visibility across all regions.

This role is not responsible for regional security management or investigations but instead focuses on program administration, analytics, technology management, governance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Security Program Administration

  • Serve as administrator for enterprise physical security systems.
  • Manage access control and video management environments.
  • Maintain badge standards and access governance processes.
  • Coordinate access-control deployments, upgrades, and system testing.
  • Support office openings, relocations, and security integrations.
  • Maintain global security technology inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain GSOC SOP library.
  • Manage escalation matrices and contact lists.
  • Conduct monthly GSOC performance reviews.
  • Analyze incident trends and escalation effectiveness.
  • Track SLA compliance and provider performance.
  • Maintain emergency notification procedures.
  • Vendor management
  • Invoice validation
  • Service quality reviews
  • Corrective action tracking
  • Contract compliance monitoring

Security Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain physical security risk register
  • Track corrective actions
  • Coordinate site security assessments
  • Support insurance questionnaires
  • Support audits and compliance reviews
  • Maintain security standards documentation

Incident Management & Reporting

  • Maintain global incident tracking system.
  • Produce monthly security dashboards.
  • Track investigations and closure status.
  • Manage security metrics and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate executive reporting packages.

Reporting Areas

  • Physical security incidents
  • Workplace violence incidents
  • Access-control exceptions
  • Alarm activity
  • Vendor performance
  • Risk remediation actions

Project Coordination

Support implementation of:

  • New office openings
  • Office relocations
  • Genetec deployments
  • CCTV upgrades
  • Security infrastructure projects
  • Security standardization initiatives
  • Project coordination
  • Vendor management
  • Schedule tracking
  • Budget support
  • Documentation

Safety & Business Continuity Support

Provide administrative support for:

  • Emergency planning
  • Evacuation programs
  • Crisis management exercises
  • Safety audits
  • Business continuity planning

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in physical security, security operations, facilities security, risk management and/or data management.
  • Experience with access-control systems and video management platforms
  • Experience managing security vendors and service providers
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Genetec Security Center experience
  • Experience supporting outsourced GSOC operations
  • Corporate security experience in a multi-site environment
  • ASIS certification(s)
  • Business Continuity experience
  • Safety and emergency preparedness experience

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on a variety of factors, including geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
