Senior Accountant Full-Time | Non-Exempt • Wage: DOE

As our Senior Accountant, you'll work under the direction of the CFO to support the day-to-day financial operations and reporting.

What You'll Do

· Support the CFO and Accounting team in maintaining accurate, timely, and well-organized financial operations.

· Prepare and analyze financial reports and information.

· Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

· Prepare/review accounting journal entries.

· Reconcile weatherization jobs.

· Perform account reconciliations and help identify and resolve discrepancies.

· Support the annual external audit and program monitoring by compiling requested documentation and information.

· Review and approve accounts payable, cash disbursements, and other transactions.

· Prepare and enter grant/program budgets.

· Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential financial records and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

· Accounting education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other computer applications; accounting software experience preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

· Commitment to confidentiality and responsible stewardship of agency resources; must be bondable and insurable.
