Senior Accountant, Inventory

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant, Inventory based in United States.

• This is a senior accounting role focused on inventory, cost accounting, financial close, and accurate financial reporting within a high-volume CPG environment.
• You will play a key role in maintaining complete financial records and ensuring accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• The position owns important inventory accounting activities, including reconciliations, COGS analysis, reserves, obsolescence, and transaction accuracy across multiple sales channels.
• You will collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and resolve financial discrepancies.
• The role also provides exposure to audits, tax compliance, accounting policy development, fixed assets, debt, accruals, and process improvement initiatives.
• As a hands-on contributor, you will investigate variances, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions that improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
