Swiss Life Asset Managers Luxembourg holds a dual license as a UCITS Management Company and AIFM and is supervised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier («CSSF»). As such, Swiss Life Asset Managers Luxembourg manages UCITS as well as AIF pursuing Real Estate, Infrastructure and Senior Secured Loan strategies of corporate and contractual form.

As part of our strategic growth agenda and our Compliance Readiness Program, we are strengthening our Compliance function with an experienced Senior Corporate Compliance Officer (f/m/d).

In this senior role, you will act as a key subject matter expert for Corporate Compliance, governance frameworks, assurance-related controls, regulatory transformation initiatives across the organization as well as cover areas around fraud prevention as part of the wider team

Responsibilities

Maintain and continuously enhance the Corporate Compliance Framework including relevant policies, risk assessments, governance standards, control requirements and management reporting.

  • Contribute to the Compliance Risk Assessment and the development and execution of the risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan. Design, implement and assess key compliance controls to ensure compliance with Luxembourg and European regulatory as well as Group related requirements and track remediation measures and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Prepare management information, reporting and presentations for senior management and governance committees and act as a trusted advisor to management and key business stakeholders.
  • Provide independent Compliance review and challenge in relation to conflicts of interest, segregation of duties, delegation and outsourcing arrangements, product governance and other material governance matters.
  • Monitor and assess Product and Corporate regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on implementation requirements and practical compliance solutions.
  • Drive process optimization, automation and digitalization initiatives within Compliance.
  • Make high impact contribution to complex group-wide compliance and governance projects such as organizational readiness for ETF structures and listed products.
  • Support interactions with regulators, auditors and other control functions.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of fraud-prevention and market-conduct frameworks, including governance, risk assessments, escalation processes and second-line monitoring.
  • Develop and deliver targeted Compliance training and awareness initiatives.

Experience

  • University degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Corporate Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Controls or Audit within Asset Management,
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and testing governance and control frameworks.
  • Practical experience with insurance controls, operational controls, compliance monitoring or internal control systems.
  • Solid expertise in fraud prevention, governance, conduct risk and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing complex regulatory or transformation projects independently.
  • Strong understanding of ETF governance, capital markets regulation or Ireland-related regulatory frameworks would be a significant advantage.
  • High affinity for automation, digital solutions and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent English; German and/or French would be considered an asset.
