Harbinger Health is leading a transformation in cancer detection, introducing fundamentally new approaches to resolving cancer-related uncertainty across multiple clinical contexts. The company combines advances in artificial intelligence with proprietary insights into the biology of the origins of cancer to enable fit-for-purpose strategies grounded in shared biology and a common platform – all through a low-cost blood test. Harbinger is advancing multiple tests in its RESOLVE™ portfolio designed to help bring clarity more efficiently to clinicians when cancer is suspected. Harbinger was founded by Flagship Pioneering after three years of foundational research in its Labs unit and launched in 2020.
Position Summary
As the Head of Commercial Operations & Analytics at Harbinger Health, you will build the operational and analytical foundation for Harbinger’s commercial organization as the company prepares to launch its first RESOLVE™ product. You will translate commercial strategy into scalable processes, systems, insights, and performance management tools that enable disciplined execution and informed decision-making. This hands-on role requires a strategic builder who can define the operating model while personally driving implementation in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
Build and lead the commercial operations and analytics function, establishing the operating model, priorities, processes, and roadmap required for launch and scale.
Own the commercial technology and data ecosystem, including CRM strategy, implementation, governance, adoption, and integration with other business systems.
Develop commercial reporting, dashboards, and analyses that provide actionable insight into customer engagement, ordering accounts and clinicians, test volume, conversion, repeat ordering, revenue, and channel performance.
Lead commercial planning, including market and customer segmentation, territory design, target setting, resource allocation, forecasting, and incentive compensation.
Design and optimize core commercial processes across lead management, account planning, pipeline management, launch readiness, performance reviews, and field or partnership execution.
Partner with Marketing, Finance, IT, and other functions to establish clear data definitions, connected workflows, and a reliable source of commercial performance information.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive commercial operations, sales operations, or commercial analytics experience in diagnostics or another regulated healthcare field.
Demonstrated success building or scaling commercial operations capabilities for a healthcare product launch or growing commercial organization.
Expertise in CRM, commercial data infrastructure, reporting, dashboard development, and performance analytics.
Experience with commercial planning, forecasting, segmentation, territory design, target setting, and incentive compensation.
Strong cross-functional leadership, analytical judgment, and the ability to translate strategy into practical systems and processes in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in business, analytics, finance, science, or a related field.
Experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, genomics, or another emerging diagnostic category.
Experience building commercial infrastructure in a pre-launch or early-stage environment, including hands-on experience with leading CRM and business intelligence platforms.
The salary range for this role is $247,000 - $295,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Harbinger Health currently offers healthcare coverage, annual incentive program, retirement benefits and a broad range of other benefits.
