The position works collaboratively with University Development and Alumni Engagement, ArtsUNF, and MOCA leadership to secure support from individuals, corporations, foundations, government sources, and community partners.
The position manages a major-gift portfolio and directs fundraising for annual operations, programs, endowment, capital initiatives, exhibitions, collections, education, and student engagement. - Prepare and coordinate proposals, grant applications, sponsorship materials, case statements, donor presentations, reports, and stewardship communications in collaboration with appropriate University and Museum partners.
- Engage University and MOCA leaders, the MOCA Board of Trustees, ArtsUNF advisory groups, faculty, staff, and volunteers in prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, campaign activity, and community advocacy.
- Coordinate donor engagement and fundraising opportunities associated with exhibitions, programs, special events, and community initiatives, and represent ArtsUNF, MOCA, and the University at donor and professional functions.
- Oversee donor and prospect data management, revenue tracking, proposal activity, and fundraising metrics to support strategic decision-making, effective stewardship, and compliance with institutional policies and donor requirements.
Marginal Functions:
- Represent ArtsUNF, MOCA, and the University at occasional evening, weekend, off-site, or travel-related donor and community activities.
- Participate in special campaigns, task forces, or institutional initiatives as assigned when those activities fall outside routine fundraising responsibilities.
- Perform designated job-related duties during a declared emergency at an assigned off-campus location or place of residence.
