Engineer / Senior Engineer - Reel & Winder

We are looking for an Engineer / Senior Engineer to join our team in Pune, India. In this role, you will contribute to engineering activities for paper and board machine environments, with a focus on plant engineering, 3D modelling, drawings, and bill of material creation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and subcontracted engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support project execution, procurement, manufacturing, and installation.

Main responsibilities:

• •Efficiently prepare layout, schematic and detailed drawing
• •Ensure designs are based on the established standards and specifications
• •Maintain existing engineering record and designs
• •Create and maintain bill of materials.
• •Technical product support to the internal and external customers
• •Project engineering and product improvements
• •Participation to the technology team’s work
• •Product Safety
• •Support to procurement activities
• •Participation to the delivery projects and customer audits

Requirements:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant technical field.
• •Good technical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
• •Hands-on experience with Catia V6 and AutoCAD 2D design tools.
• •Previous experience in Reel & Winder engineering of Board/Paper machines is preferred.
• •Ability to read and interpret fluid system diagrams and technical documentation.
• •Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• •Willingness to travel, within India & globally
