The Job:
As a Senior Experience Designer, you’ll be part of our DEWALT Experience & Innovation Center (XIC) team as an employee based in Towson, MD. You’ll get to:
- Translate business objectives, visitor insights, and storytelling themes into engaging physical, digital, and interactive experiences.
- Create a broad range of experiential assets, displays, environments, and installations that help visitors understand the value and impact of our products and solutions.
- Develop sketches, renderings, models, presentations, and other visual concepts to communicate ideas and build stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure all experiences reflect brand standards, exceptional quality, and a thoughtful balance of creativity, functionality, and visitor engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, brand, creative, engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to bring ideas from concept through execution.
- Partner with external vendors and fabrication partners to evaluate concepts, develop solutions, and project manage to completion.
- Support the hands-on creation, installation, maintenance, and evolution of experiential assets across the Experience & Innovation Center.
The Person:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Experiential Design, Exhibit Design, Environmental Design, Graphic Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience designing exhibits, branded environments, retail experiences, installations, displays, or other experiential assets required. Experience in construction, industrial products, manufacturing, tools, or related industries is highly valued.
- Strong visualization skills including sketching, graphic design, 3D modeling, rendering, or other methods used to communicate ideas effectively. Comfortable working hands-on with tools, materials, prototypes, and physical installations.
- Ability to think creatively while understanding how concepts will be fabricated, installed, and maintained in a real-world environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to a variety of audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design visualization tools; 3D modeling experience required and CATIA V5 experience preferred.

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
