Financial Analyst, Senior - Divisional

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key strategic partner responsible for driving financial performance and enhancing financial understanding across the organization. This role involves delivering advanced financial analysis, process improvements, and actionable insights to influence decision-making at senior levels. The Senior Financial Analyst will identify opportunities for optimization, lead initiatives for financial transformation, and play a critical role in aligning the organization’s financial objectives with business strategies.

What You Will Do at Graco

Financial Oversight and Management

Lead the administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of incentive plans for sales and marketing teams.

Prepare regular reporting of incentive achievement that is understandable and actionable for the commercial team to drive sales

Manage key aspects of the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.

Support the calculation, review and accounting for rebates, royalties and other marketing and sales programs

Ensure the accurate and timely accounting of sales, COGS, rebates, royalties, incentives, compliance charges, and other marketing programs.

Strategic Financial Planning

Support the periodic and annual budgeting and financial planning process, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Provide expert-level support for internal and external reporting requirements by responding to Corporate Reporting and Finance requests.

Deliver advanced financial modeling and forecasting to evaluate and present complex financial scenarios.

Process Improvement and Automation

Suggest, lead, and implement process enhancements and reporting improvements, including automation and the use of advanced visualization tools like Power BI.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, providing training and regular updates to stakeholders as needed.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

Provide detailed variance analysis, comparing actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and deliver actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.

Enhance data-driven decision-making by managing and maintaining robust financial databases, automated reporting systems, and analytics tools.

Ensure all reporting is timely and accurate

Stakeholder Communication and Influence

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic business initiatives.

Present financial reports and strategic insights to senior management, clarifying data implications and aligning recommendations with business objectives.

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster financial understanding and drive alignment on organizational goals.

What You Bring to Graco

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, preferably within a global industrial manufacturing environment.

Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and cost accounting principles.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying financial insights to non-financial audiences.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing competing priorities.

Accelerators

Experience in global industrial manufacturing, with a strong understanding of its financial drivers and operational complexities.

Proven track record of leading financial process improvements and automation initiatives.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

$75,000.00 - $131,200.00
