Senior Software Engineer - 4+ Years

Position Overview

Techdome develops mission-critical platforms in healthcare and financial services, where accuracy, security, and uptime are non-negotiable. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and sustain production-grade applications using Node.js, React, MongoDB, and TypeScript, and to take lasting accountability for their performance.

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead the full lifecycle of features, from design through deployment and ongoing maintenance
• •Engineer secure, scalable, and well-tested APIs and applications
• •Perform code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team
• •Resolve production incidents directly and perform root-cause analysis
• •Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making
• •Coach and mentor engineers within the team
• •Collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps, and work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containerization, and observability tools

Minimum Qualifications

• •At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
• •Demonstrated proficiency in Node.js, React, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• •Working knowledge of REST API design, database architecture, authentication and authorization, testing, and application security
• •Proven experience operating production applications at scale
• •Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• •Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and production monitoring and debugging
• •Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare, fintech, banking, payments, or insurance
• •Strong experience in team leading and a record of taking ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• •Knowledge of system design, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• •Exposure to Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code
• •Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI, PCI-DSS, or payment platforms (Stripe, Braintree, Adyen)
• •Experience in consulting or product studios supporting multiple clients and products
• •Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
