Job Description:

insightsoftware is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our EPM business unit. In this role, you will serve as a senior pre-sales resource, leading complex product demonstrations, driving partner enablement, and contributing meaningfully to technical sales strategy across our EPM suite. You will anticipate customer needs, design custom solutions, and act as a trusted advisor to prospects and internal stakeholders across the full EPM portfolio. Deep hands-on experience in EPM platforms, cross-product fluency, and the ability to operate independently in complex, high-value opportunities are essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• •Technical Expertise – Maintain advanced knowledge of EPM solutions, including financial planning, budgeting, and corporate performance management, with the ability to handle custom configurations and complex technical scenarios.
• •Strategic Client Engagement – Anticipate customer needs and lead complex pre-sales engagements independently, partnering with the sales team to contribute to deal strategy and accelerate revenue outcomes.
• •Product Demonstrations – Deliver authoritative, tailored product demonstrations to C-suite and technical audiences, articulating business value and competitive differentiation across the EPM portfolio.
• •Solution Design – Architect custom solutions for enterprise prospects, mapping sophisticated business requirements to platform capabilities and guiding customers through complex evaluation processes.
• •Proposal Development – Lead technical responses to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring accuracy, strategic alignment, and a compelling value narrative across multi-product opportunities.
• •Team Contribution – Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices, supporting a collaborative SE environment across the EPM business unit.
• •Feedback Loop – Synthesize field insights from prospect and customer interactions to inform product roadmap priorities and go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
• •Minimum of 4 years in a sales engineering, pre-sales, solutions consulting, or solutions engineering role within the EPM, ERP, or financial software industry.
• •Deep, hands-on knowledge of EPM platforms with demonstrated proficiency across financial planning, budgeting, and corporate performance management solutions. Cross-product understanding is a strong plus.
• •Comfortable designing and demonstrating custom configurations to address complex, non-standard prospect requirements.
• •Proven ability to lead complex enterprise engagements independently and influence deal outcomes at a senior level.
• •Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to C-suite executives and navigate technical discussions with precision.
• •Advanced analytical skills with a track record of anticipating customer needs and designing creative, business-aligned solutions.
• •Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience with AI coding tools or workflow automation in a sales or pre-sales context.
• •Experience with SAP and/or Oracle EPM platforms.
• •Experience with REST APIs and the ability to build or configure integrations independently.
• •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling.

• The salary range in United Arab Emirates for this position is 456,000.00 to 570,000.00 AED Annual.
• For sales roles, this range includes the commission target. For non-sales roles, this is a base salary only range; additional bonus eligibility may apply.
