Senior Sterile Processing Technician (Evening Shift)- $10,000 Sign on Bonus

Description:

• Ability to work well with a team and focus on priorities for Operating Room schedule. * Decontaminates, prepares, packages and sterilizes surgical instrumentation and supplies.
• * Performs all duties of a Certified Sterile Technician.
• * Meets daily required distribution of processed materials with proper documentation and
• reports submitted.
• * Assures proper instrumentation requirements for the surgical schedule as indicated by
• supervisor and SPD/OR Liaison
• * Operates the sterilizer and ensures that staff is producing a minimum of 4 trays each.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• * High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• * Graduation from a Central Services Technician course and Certification preferred.
• * Minimum of two (2) years previous experience in this job classification required; 5 years
• preferred.
• * Computer knowledge required.
• * Good interpersonal skills necessary.
