What You’ll Do:

• •Analyze business requirements while creating technical specifications, and developing mainframe applications, interfaces, and databases.
• •Maintain EDI systems, including production on call support and technical issue resolution.
• •Serve as a technical subject matter expert for EDI systems.
• •Provide expert consultative assistance to Applications management and staff.
• •Design, develop, and maintain EDI server processes.

Job-Specific Requirements:

• •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related field.
• •Seven years of programming experience in COBOL, MVS utilities, MVS JCL, and CICS Command Level programming.
• •Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• •Five years of system analysis and design experience.
• •Competent in developing COBOL programs that interact with DB2 databases.
• •Top-tier communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, managers and customers; conveying information clearly, listening carefully and providing guidance.
• •Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks while effectively organizing tasks and time.

Preferred:

• •Working familiarity with Easytrieve.
• •Linux scripts and/or C programming experience.
