Senior Team Lead

Core Responsibilities

• •Daily Operations & Task Allocation
• •Manage daily warehouse activities, including inbound receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and outbound dispatch.
• •Assign daily shifts and tasks to warehouse operatives, forklift drivers, and material handlers based on workload capacity.
• •Act as the single point of contact on the floor for urgent operational or driver-coordination issues.

• •Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy
• •Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation audits.
• •Track and resolve short/over shipments, pending transfer orders, and stock discrepancies.
• •Maintain clean, accurate data inside Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Warehouse Management Systems

• •Team Supervision & Development
• •Monitor staff attendance, performance, and daily output against operational targets.
• •Onboard, train, and mentor new warehouse or logistics team members.
• •Conduct performance feedback and support conflict resolution on the floor.

• •Safety, Compliance & Facility Upkeep
• •Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and proper manual-handling procedures.
• •Oversee facility security, cleanliness, and proper storage of materials (including hazardous goods where applicable).
• •Perform routine equipment and machinery safety checks.

• •Reporting & Collaboration
• •Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround times (TAT), delivery accuracy, and damage rates.
• •Coordinate with transport partners, central warehouses, and internal customer service teams.
• •Report shift updates, productivity metrics, and escalations to the Warehouse Manager.
