Our Quality Assurance group ensures every single material inside our products is manufactured, processed, tested, packaged, stored, and distributed aligned with our incredibly high standards of quality and meets all regulatory requirements. Partnering across our internal manufacturing facilities, external contract manufacturers and suppliers we create an interdependent global manufacturing network committed to deliver a compliant, reliable supply to customers and patients on time, every time, across the globe.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Safety First, Quality Always to maintain a compliant site
  • Ensure activities are completed by agreed upon timelines
  • Supports execution of local QC routine virological testing and other testing as assigned by QC manager.
  • Assist with the validation of QC methods as needed.
  • Create and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for QC
  • Author, Review and/or approve protocols.
  • Author, Review and/or approve reports to local QA or to the USDA
  • Assist with QC testing to meet internal and external customer needs
  • Prepares periodic project updates and participates in conference calls and meetings
  • Supports identification and application of new technologies (innovation) as assigned

Education:

  • High School diploma wiht a minimum of 4 years relevant experience OR
  • Associates Degree in a relevant scientific field (biology / chemistry, life science) with a minimum of two years relevant experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (biology / chemistry, life science, engineering)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Lab experience in a biological/virology testing lab setting,
  • Experience with Virus Titration, Bacterial Titration, and ELISA testing concepts and principles
  • Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Ability to effectively follow procedural guidelines.
  • Strong computer skills with excellent communication and writing skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in an animal health biologic laboratory setting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot assay issues and perform investigations with a solid scientific foundation.
  • Ability to successfully assume/complete additional technical responsibilities with little supervision.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and a working knowledge of cGMP.

The salary range for this role is: $59,100 - $93,000

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
