Design clarity where complexity impacts real lives.
At Resmed, we're looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to help shape digital experiences that support patients, providers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders across our ecosystem. You'll combine strong interaction design, systems thinking, and product judgment to turn ambiguity into intuitive, scalable experiences that help people get things done.
As part of our Global User Experience team, you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, and CX teams to design experiences that are useful, accessible, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving workflow and information architecture challenges, and is excited about thoughtfully incorporating AI into modern digital experiences.
You'll play a key role in defining workflows, shaping information architecture, creating interaction models, and helping establish what high-quality user experiences look like across Resmed's digital products and services.
What You'll Do
Lead UX work from discovery through delivery, including problem framing, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction specifications, and design quality assurance.
Design clear, efficient, and scalable experiences for complex workflows and data-rich interfaces.
Apply interaction design and information architecture principles to simplify complexity while preserving critical detail.
Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to shape feasible solutions and resolve ambiguity early in the design process.
Contribute to design systems, reusable patterns, and consistent experience standards across products.
Design with accessibility, usability, and inclusivity at the forefront of every experience.
Use AI tools to support ideation, prototyping, synthesis, and design iteration where appropriate.
Create AI-enabled experiences with clear decision points, understandable responses, and thoughtful exception handling.
Refine prompts and interactions to improve output quality, consistency, and usefulness.
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for usability, accessibility, ethics, and accuracy, while identifying where human review is necessary.
Design experiences that promote trust by balancing system confidence, user control, confirmation moments, and escalation paths.
Leverage AI-assisted research synthesis to accelerate learning while maintaining strong design judgment.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, and CX partners to deliver meaningful outcomes that improve everyday experiences.
What You Bring
Strong portfolio demonstrating complex product work, thoughtful decision-making, and delivered outcomes.
Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, workflow design, and prototyping.
Experience designing enterprise, workflow-heavy, or data-rich digital products.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Research, and Content partners.
Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and simplify complexity without oversimplifying the problem.
Practical understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
Comfort incorporating AI tools into the design process.
Ability to think critically about AI-enabled experiences, including trust, accuracy, and user control.
Strong communication skills and confidence explaining design decisions.
Nice to have
Experience designing AI-enabled experiences or conversational workflows.
Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, enterprise software, or operations-focused products.
Experience supporting design systems or pattern libraries.
What Sets You Apart
Systems Thinking: Connect individual interactions to the broader experience and design solutions that scale.
Curiosity: Explore problems deeply, challenge assumptions, and uncover opportunities others may overlook.
Judgment: Balance user needs, business goals, and technical realities to make thoughtful decisions.
Ownership: Drive clarity through ambiguity and maintain momentum from concept to delivery.
Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across disciplines and bring people together around shared outcomes.
Adaptability: Embrace emerging technologies and evolving challenges while keeping users at the center of decisions.
